Chinese arts and crafts have a long and rich history which the future generation could still enjoy today.
Some of these arts and crafts is currently on exhibit at the National Museum of China. The "Modern Works of Chinese Arts and Crafts" or the "Chinese Contemporary Arts and Crafts Biennale 2016" boasts a collection of 700 different pieces, showcasing Chinese arts and crafts traditions from across the country and made by generations of craftsmen.
Within the 700 collection includes examples of State-level intangible cultural heritages such as the practice of thangka painting, Ming-style furnitures and the creation of cloisonne metalworking which is often found in Jingtailan.
The exhibit ends on July 22.
