On October 13th, Kim Kuangzhen, a pastor from the Full Gospel Church, Korea, was invited by the fellowship of the Christian Union Hall of Guangdong to preach in the 8th year anniversary of the soul of fosterage meeting. He talked of Cho Yong-gi's experience, the founder of the Full Gospel Church, and witnessed how to rely on faith to overcome the pain of his father's death
Pastor Kim mentioned the experience of Cho Yong-gi in his preaching. In the war to resist U. S. aggression and aid Korea with injuries and deaths, at that time, a young man in Busan couldn't continue his studies due to tuberculosis. He was told that he only had a few months to live. The Korean was so poor that he had no medicine to cure his sickness. With this situation, one of the boy's friends gave him a book to read, however, thinking about his imminent death, the boy refused to read the book. Then, he read a story from the book about the lame man who was walking, the blind man who recovered his sight. It was Jesus who healed these men. May be many people guessed that this book is the Bible. The teenager may not have not known him, but he began to pray to God to heal him. Finally God answered his prayers and his body was gradually restored. So he went on to read theology and later became one of the servants of God who truly appreciates God's grace.
He believed that God chose him among the ten thousands of people. With him,his church experienced a revival and increased in followership. This is the witness of Pastor Yong Chi-cho, a founder of the Yoido Full Gospel Church. "He set up the biggest church in Korea not with his own ability and wisdom, but rather with God having been with him," Kim said
Pastor Kim also witnessed how to rely on his faith to overcome the sadness of his father's death. He said, his mind drew a blank when father had died. He had always thought his father was healthy. He suddenly felt that life is meaningless. He didn't want to do anything, his heart was full of despair. Although he went to the church, he had no confidence in God and felt that He was far away.
However, since his father's death, he joined the last soul of fosterage meeting in winter after he have refused many times , and finally, he has seen God's grace. The pastor said, "Jesus loved them to the end."
He was deeply touched when he heard this and as a result he closed eyes and prayed, "God, you love me to the end, you still love me when I was disppointed," Pastor Kim said. Then he was irrigated by the love of God and he thanked God in prayer. He decided to live for God whether during the good times or the bad. He claimed that he heard the mission that God had given him,"Go to raise my sheep." Since then, he made up his mind to love the Lord all his life, no matter what, and to serve Him.
