Church in East China Celebrates 15th Anniv. of Founding

On September 15 Wuzhong Economic Development Zone Church of Suzhou celebrates the 15th anniversary of its founding and holds a praise meeting to observe the Chinese traditional Mid-autumn Day.  Officials of the local authority and leaders of the city's CCC&TSPM and Wuzhong's CCC&TSPM attend the ceremony.

Teacher Sun Honglei, the leader of the church, introduces its fifteen-year-old history. It is said that in the beginning a couple of believers registered an open temporary gathering on August 28, which started the worship in an open-air rented place with an area of 60 or 70 square meters.

In the following years, it has grown into a church with a congregation of more than one thousand members with a church building whose area reaches about 500 square meters.
