The church in Zhongmu County, Henan, trains all the local 150 preachers for half a month lasting from Nov. 20 to Dec. 3.
During the first week, Rev. Zhu Qingchun from Zhengzhou shared the message of salvation and Christian life as the guest speaker, invited by Zhongmu CCC & TSPM. In the next week, volunteer preachers were required to preach sermons and the judges evaluated them in many aspects, such as the truth, life experiences, sermon structure, spiritual life and appearance. This training was to prepare co-workers for the incoming retreats.
Gao introduces that the church holds training for preachers each year since the establishment of the church and training building in 2014. This year two one-month training programs were held in February and August. Besides, the county CCC & TSPM opens a two-year theological class and recruits new students. The first batch of students have graduated. What's more, some co-workers received theological training in Luoyang this August.
It is said that there are 62 churches with more than 170 preachers in the county. Apart from conducting training for preachers, the local CCC & TSPM carries out training programs on accounting, computer skills, sounds and for choirs.
