The youth fellowship of Enguang Church in Qiqihar, Heilongjiang, launched a large charity sale in a square of a shopping mall on June 17, 2017.
Thousands of articles for daily use, clothes, and electrical appliances donated by the church's congregation were sold. A volunteer fellowship from Ningbo also contributed lots of nano living goods. The bazaar raised a total of 20,000 yuan which would be donated to aid children with cerebral palsy.
During the three-month preparation the fellowship held daily morning prayer meetings. They prayed together for the drive after each service, engaged in communication and coordination with the local authority, and the arrangement of donated items. Encouraging and praying with each other in the face of difficulties, they grew after experiencing God.
The impact of the drive was beyond imagination: many local business owners were so moved by it that they wanted to continue cooperation with the fellowship. A famous shopping company even donated goods to support it. Meanwhile, the activity got the attention of the city's TV station, a former radio personality, and the webmaster of a photography website.
