On March 29, 2018, Liaoning Wafangdian Church held an evening prayer meeting in the manner of the Taize community to mark the fellowship of Jesus Christ with his disciples.

Before the service started the congregation prayed in silence and to soft music. When the meeting began pastors walked toward the altar with the Bible, crosses, and candlesticks in their hands. Pastors and deacons read Isaiah 53:1-9 and Luke 22:39-46. The choir presented an anthem named Gethsemane.

The pastoral staff led the participants to pray for personal confession, the church, and its ministries, pastors, and families. Afterward, pastors, deacons, and teachers lit candles in front of the altar.

Then it came to the communion service. Rev. Zheng Guangyi, the senior pastor, led the sacrament. After receiving the bread and cup, many believers were moved to tears.

The prayer meeting ended with a benediction.
