The teaching staff at Northeast Theological Seminary in Liaoning Province returned to work on June 8, 2020.
On that day, all the teaching staff completed the procedures of entry and exit body temperature detection registration, filling in health information, scanning the health code, stepping into the disinfecting carpet for disinfection, and other procedures.
According to the official website of CCC&TSPM, the college had previously held a conference via video on precautions needed to prevent the virus. The college is required to carefully implement online teaching, and leaders who are in charge of classes need to be on duty to watch over things. They organized special workers to disinfect the school gates, libraries, canteens, dormitory areas, teaching areas, churches, and other public areas. And they posted notices about social distancing.
On June 9, Elder Shi Aijun, the dean of Northeast Theological Seminary and chairman of the Liaoning Provincial CC&TSPM, held a meeting for teachers preparing to return to work. Everyone studied the "Covid-19 Health Education Handbook" and watched the "War Pandemic" a video prepared by the Ministry of Education. The guidelines are there to protect teachers and students in colleges and universities from Covid-19.
Elder Shi called on all teachers to take a positive and optimistic attitude as they resumed their classes, and to ensure that the college became a safe "bastion" while waiting for students to return to class.
