The CCC&TSPM held its annual summary training meeting in Shanghai from December 28 to 30.
The three-day training course included an awards ceremony, a training seminar, annual reports, and a visit to an anti-Japanese memorial hall, according to CCC&TSPM.
After Rev. Xu Xiaohong, chairman of the Chinese Christian Council of the Protestant churches in China delivered a speech, he together with Rev. Wu Wei, president of the Three-Self Patriotic Movement, presented awards to the advanced and excellent staff workers of 2020.
In a seminar, Rev. Xu explained how missionaries introduced Christianity four different times during China's history. adding the information of the Sinicization of Christianity, the reason for launching the TSPM, and a description of its spirit.
Rev. Wu summarized the work of the past year and expressed his thoughts. Each subordinate ministry representative told about their fights against COVID-19, what they accomplished in 2020, and their plans for 2021.
The meeting ended with a visit to the Shanghai Warehouse Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall where the participants presented chrysanthemums in honor of those who died during the war.
