Changsha Municipal CC&TSPM held training courses for more than 90 church leaders in the city.
In the training held on June 25th, they used a combination of face-to-face teaching and self-study, according to Changsha CC&TSPM.
Wang Zishu, deputy director of the Changsha ethnic and religious Bureau, Rev. Xu Yongbin, chairman of the Hunan TSPM, and Deng Huijun, a representative of the Kaifu District People’s Congress, were invited to give lectures. These lectures covered "Administrative Measures for Religious Personnel", "Regulations on Religious Affairs of Hunan Province" and "Civil Code".
The self-study courses included "Regulations on Religious Affairs", "Administrative Measures for Religious Organizations", "Measures for the Identification of Pastors in Changsha", and "Provisions for Christian Volunteer Pastors in Changsha".
After a day of training, attendees stated that this training had enhanced their awareness of the law, and their competence in running churches in accordance with the law, and also improved their ability to manage Christian activity places in the city.
