China's Christian Minority Bilingual Church Missionary Training was held in Kunming last August 10. About 140 people attended the opening ceremony.

In the opening ceremony, the leaders of the State and Yunnan Administration for Religious Affairs spoke about the importance and need of the training course. Pastor Gao Feng, President of the Chinese Christian Council, said that the National Annual Christianity attaches great importance to the development of the ethnic minority church and givesspecial help to many ministries.

The training is mainly for preachers in the Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi provinces, for those who are proficient in Chinese and the native dialect. Nominated by the provincial CPPCC, a total of 148 people from 12 ethnic minorities were present , involving the Miao, Yi, Zhuang, Maonan, Yao, Chaoxian, Lisu, Hani, Jingbo, Va, Lahu, White etc. Training Course Opening Ratio for: biblical theology (25%), practical theology (25%), history of the church (20%), three-self, theology (15%), policies and regulations of patriotism education (15%). The experienced teachers and pastors were invited to teach  courses. Relevantelevant leaders will teach religious policies and regulations.

The Preacher's Training Course aims to have the preachers both knowing the native language, and Mandarin train for five consecutive years in order to promote the healthy development of the ethnic minority areas churches, improve the quality of the pastoral staff, the standard platform of information, andstrengthen the ethnic minority areas the church feed ability, etc.
