Guangdong, Fujian Churches Visit Lonely Seniors, Distribute Masks

Before and after the Spring Festival, two churches in Guangdong Province and Fujian Province carried out public welfare activities.

Leaders of Yangjiang Municipal TSPM and members of Yangdong Church in Guangdong paid door-to-door visits to poor families, widows, and elderly people in Luoxi and Luodong Villages on January 26. They sent cotton-padded clothes, rice, and cooking oil, according to Guangdong CC&TSPM.

Tabitha volunteers of Beimen Church in Zhangzhou, Fujian, distributed a total of 3,300 masks and 1,000 COVID-19 antigen test kits for free at the entrance of the church between January 9 and January 20. They also presented cooking oil and other items to street cleanesr, and money to needy families and the elderly in nursing homes, said the church.
