Chinese Poet Passed Away at 90

Chinese poet Yu Guangzhong passed away on Thursday according to a Taiwanese news report online.

According to the report of udn.com, the famous poet was confined to the hospital in Taiwan after suffering from a stroke and gotten pulmonary infection.

Yu is well-known as a litterature, poet, and proser and born in Jiangsu province's Nanjing city in 1928. Throughout his career, Yu focused on creating several literary masterpieces, including his masterpiece work 'Nostalgia', which appealed to all ethnic Chinese around the world as it reflected Yu's feelings upon being displaced after moving to Taiwan in 1950.

Aside from being a writer, he was also a great commentator, translator and teaching, teaching in Taiwan, Hong Kong and the US throughout his career.

When once asked about nostalgia, Yu said it was a feeling every person feels.
