China's people are now concerned with what is going on with different Sina Weibo's trend that involves about health.

A new trend has once again taken over Chinese social media which features "iPhone 6 legs". This topic is already trending over the past few days. Thousands of female netizens are posting pictures that show how their iPhone 6 can cover their skinny legs. Though, there are people who just ridicule and even follow this thing, there are also some who are worried how this can affect unhealthy beauty standards in the country.

According to a report, lately China has seen different trends that propagated thin figure as a ruling beauty standard.

Since 2015, an online challenge has gone viral across WeChat, Sina Weibo and other major social media in the country. The goal of the challenge was for people to try reach their belly button backhand. After this, a challenge on putting coins on women's collarbones and holding a pencil with the bottom line of breast were then became trending all over the country's social media.

Along with the challenges mentioned above, an online obsession which is termed as "mermaid line", "bikini bridge" and "vest line" then took over China's Sina Weibo.

Recently, "A4 waist" has gone viral too wherein netizens took a photo holding an A4 paper before their waist and if their waist is not visible, it means their figure is too slim.

Social media's idea of beauty has not stop here are another trend took over Sina Weibo and other social media in China where girls are showing their legs with an iPhone 6 infront of it. The challenge's goal is when the phone covers your legs, you conformed to this standard of beauty.

Because of these trends, some people began to criticize and voice out their concerns about health. "These everyday trends bore me. Your standard of beauty is not healthy!" according to one netizens.

 And some even prove that beauty is not really enough as they took a photo of their diploma saying that brains go above beauty.
