Isaiah 43:2 "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."
This verse helps us to be reminded about God's promise to us. Though he used different metaphors, he only mean that whatever happens, whether in trouble or happiness, He is with us and he will never leave us because we are His beloved children.
Proverbs: 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
This might be a verse you hear all the time but this will explain that we, as human beings should not be confident with just ourselves. We need help and when we have God, nothing can defeat us. If we know how to call on Him, he will guide us. We should not think that because we are good enough and performing well, we will not crumble and fall in the future. Yes, we won't be falling if God is with us and if we trust God. He has his own timing and plans.
Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
If you think that the world has forgotten about you and that it became cruel to you, do not be dismayed because God has better plans for you. Those plans are better than what you have planned and asked of him. If only you open your hearts and listen to Him, He will talk to you in His miraculous ways. No need to harden your hearts.
