In this world where everyone else is consumed by too much confidence in worldy things, how can we learn the ways of the Lord and still commit to Him?
According to Psalm 86:11, it says "Teach me your ways, Oh Lord; that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you."
How can God teach us His ways and live according to His truth? To answer, it is to read the Bible every single day and learn from the words of God. The primary way to set our focus on God and stay pure is to read the Bible and see the past examples of God through the different situations addressed in the Bible.
Secondly, we can be pure and stay clean and faithful to God by always listening to our fellow believers, especially those who live their lives dedicating to God. It might be a little hard to stay pure and kind in this world but when we have companions like our fellow believers, it would be a lot easier and that we will be guided on what and what is not better to do. They are like instruments from God.
Lastly, when we seek God over everything, He will guide our pure hearts and keep it clean. God will reveal His Holy will through our thoughts, as well as through our convictions. Always remember that when learning His ways, a person with a pure heart may struggle and face difficulties; but, they do not forget to pray. Prayer is our only communication with Him. Make the most out of it and use it every day.
