Jackie Chan is already 55 years in show business. With his fans all over the globe, the 63-year-old professional martial artist and actor revealed how he treasures his fans so much.
"I hope [fans] can be patient when they see me," Chan told AOL Entertainment in his recent interview. "Sometimes they push each other just to get close to me. I don't want anyone to get hurt because of me -- that really concerns me. It's the last thing I would want to happen."
"In some countries, fans are really shy. in other countries, the fans just treat me as their buddy. For example, in the US, fans would simply call out 'Give me five!' or do a fist-bump with me," Chan added boasting about his fans' diversity. "But I think every individual is unique in this world, and I really love all my fans."
While Jackie Chan has an official Facebook account, he revealed that he is not really the one communicating with his fans through it.
Despite his 64 million Facebook followers, he revealed that he prefers to interact with people in the real world and meet them face-to-face. "I'm a people person. I don't want a screen between me and my fans," he added.
Meanwhile, Jackie Chan recently went back on the big screen with "Kung Fu Yoga." The action-adventure comedy movie is written and directed by Stanley Tong. It tells the chronicles of Jack, a famous professor of archaelogy and his teaming up with a young Indian professor to locate the India's lost Magadha treasure in Tibet.
"Perhaps you have seen me in many car chases before, but this time there are wild expensive luxury cars loaned by the Dubai government and its royal family," Chan said about the difference of his new movie from the previous ones he had. "There's even a lion riding with me as we fly through the air!"
