Chinese Christians and leaders attended the annual "Envision" conference held online by the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ).
The conference was conducted from January 25 to 28 for pastors and ministry leaders, featuring "Leading in times of crisis."
According to ICEJ, the Envision conference usually takes place to "coincide with the International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27th each year – the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz – so that Christian leaders can observe this event at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem and learn more about Israel."
This year's event includes two daily live events, prayer sessions, and more than 20 sessions, drawing "over 650 participants from more than 50 nations."
Pastors and leaders in the marketplace, such as business, media, and public service, testified how they served as light and salt in their occupations.
Speakers included Rev. Peter Tsukahira from Israel, American Christian media professional Phil Cooke, Singaporean Pastor Edmond Chan, US congressman Ralph Drollinger, and more.
On the first day, ICEJ President Dr. Jürgen Bühler urged people to face the coronavirus pandemic with a positive attitude through the book of Habakkuk.
According to its official website, the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem was established in 1980 to recognize the biblical significance of all of Jerusalem and its unique connection with the Jewish people. It acknowledges the restoration of the State of Israel God's faithfulness to keep His ancient covenant with the Jewish people. The organization launched the annual Feast of Tabernacles gathering in Jerusalem in the 1980s.
