A church in Fujian Province conducted activities to alleviate poverty and aid students.
Rev. Zhuang Jingcheng, chairman and president of Zhangzhou Municipal Christian Council and senior pastor of Dongbanhou Church, visited the Jinyong community to distribute cooking oil, rice, and relief funds to needy families on August 25, reported Fujian CC&TSPM. Additionally, pastoral workers also provided assistance to impoverished believers, with 52 families in need being aided.
Pastor Zhuang and members of sacred music groups presented scholarships to two college students during a scholarship award ceremony that the church held in the evening.
