Below describes the situations of the Miao believers in Ji'an, Jiangxi Province.

Some Miao believers in Guizhou came to Jiangxi Ji'an to flee famine in the early 90's.  They contracted local people's land for farming in addition to performing odd jobs, and lived in soil houses they have built. However, these scattered Miao communities in Ji'an all had churches.

Some met in other believers' homes, some banded together to build a church building. There are now more than a dozen families near Ji'an Qingyuan District, Futian Township, Huqiu Village.  They live in soil houses, and one of the brothers dedicated his own house as a church.  Although relatively dim, it was still fairly spacious.

Since the children attend the local school, they learn Miao primarily in Sunday School.  The Miao hymns are also serenely long. The Miao Christians who go to another close fellowship place every Sunday also join the group.

Yongxin County is located in the country near Ji'an City,  where there are a few scattered Miao communities.  Each Miao community has its own church, and the Jiangpan fellowship is at an elder's home.  There are five or six fellow workers in the church. Two sisters are responsible for praise. During the service, they will lead the group in singing hymns relevant to the sermon with Miao characteristics.

The Huqiu fellowship is not far from the Jiangpan fellowship. It used to be a farm, and is the only fellowship that was visited with a church building. During Christmas,  Easter, and other important celebrations, the Miao believers scattered in Ji'an gather to hold revivals.

The church is a converted pigsty, and with the walls painted white, it is a bright and spacious church.  On both sides of the cross are the words often seen in churches, "God is love, Emmanuel" in both Mandarin and Hmong.  From the church crossbeam are hung two pieces of embroidery with crosses. Next to this is a table with the Hmong Bible and hymnbook donated by Gospel Church.  When the church was completed, people were very grateful. "Before we gathered in a very small and dark place.  We had regular outdoor fellowships, but now even when everybody comes it is spacious."

The Miao Christians in the Gaowen fellowship migrated from Huqiu.  The church was on the hillside of the village and is also a soil house. The fellowship uses half of the building, while the other half is used by a family.  Brother Ma is the head of the church. Some of the villagers' homes were on the hillside and some or below it.  They live harmoniously with the local villagers and some local villagers say, "You Guizhou people are really good." "In fact, we are not educated, but we believe in God so we do what is pleasing to God, not what is displeasing to Him. "

Although some churches lack words and knowledge, their praise is like a pair of invisible hands, guiding them to God with a joyful and hopeful heart even in difficulties. At the same time, they actively communicate with the local church, seeking the help and support of local brothers and sisters, and preaching the Gospel.
