Due to the de-escalation of the COVID-19 pandemic, announcements regarding the continuations of in-person services from August 29 were issued by many churches.

Chongqing Agape Church, Ningbo Holy Christian Church in Zhejiang, a church in Anshan, Liaoning, and churches in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, and Chancheng District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province all reopened on Sunday.

In addition to this, the century-old Nangang Church in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, reopened last Wednesday, whereafter, some churches in Siping, Jilin, also resumed face-to-face gatherings.

In these notices, all churches reminded their members to follow the COVID-19 protocols, including showing their health codes, keeping a social distance, and wearing masks.
