He started using drugs when he was a junior high school student, became a gambling gaming tycoon at the age of 18, and got arrested in prison because of drug use at 20. He became a Christian when he was copying the Bible in prison. After he was released, he established four companies and led his staff to pray and worship God. He is both a prodigal son and the chairman of the board. This man is Chen Zhengyan.

Chen Zhengyan was born in 1965 in Ping Dong County. When he was in junior high, he got addicted to drugs. At the age of 18, he became a gambling gaming tycoon who earned more than ten million a month. As he earned more money, his addiction to drugs became stronger and stronger, sampling different vices from Amphetamines to heroin. At the age of 20, he got arrested because of illegal drug use. This became a turning point in his life.

In order to kill time in jail, Chen found a Bible and copied 500 words from the Bible every day. He had a lot of questions about his own life when he was copying it. He copied the Bible for 8 months in jail and gradually God’s words influenced him. Eventually, he was baptized and he became a Christian. He said goodbye to his life in the past after going out of jail and went back home to manage the Medieval Dealership with his elder brother, which wasn’t running smoothly. His friends from the past encouraged him to go back to his old ways, but he chose to follow Jesus and did the right thing.

Now Chen is the boss of four companies and he is working as an anti-drug volunteer. He copies fourteen thousand Bibles by hand with other two brothers and provides the Bibles and offices to Christian fellowship nationwide.

“Many prisoners met temptation in society and got astray without the right teaching. When they copy the Bibles, I believe God’s words will turn their lives up side down.” Chen says.
