China Deputy Consul General Attends the 100th Anniv Celebration of SF Chinese Christian Union

On evening of January 23, invited by Chinese Christian Union of San Francisco (CCUSF), Ren Faqiang, Chinese Deputy Consul General in San Francisco, attended its 100th Anniversary Celebration.

The Chinese consulate in San Francisco reported the event. Ren addressed that the union, established for one hundred years, has united Christians, served the community, benefited people and improved the harmony between Chinese Americans and other ethnic groups. Having visited China for three times, the Union has made positive contribution to promoting the communication of religions, culture and humanity between China and U.S. He said the consulate is willing to strengthen ties with CCUSF.

Li Zhuozong, representing the US senate, Yu Haoyang, on behalf of Edwin M. Lee, the mayor of San Francisco and other leaders of 15 Chinese churches attended the ceremony.
