On March 4, Wang Zhiying, a man suffering Leukemia, converted to Christianity during the hospitalization.
According to Beijing Chongwenmen Church, Wang accepted Jesus in the hospital when a member of the Joy & Candlelight Fellowship of the church, visited him and preached the Good News to him. Before this, two mothers of another two patients tried to preach the Gospel to him.
When Wang was praying to accept Jesus, his wife was crying near him. She said, "I feel life's changed. I feel I'm being supported now."
Besides this visit, the fellowship visited sick members ten times this February. Members of the Joy & Candlelight fellowship mostly experience sickness and some are still suffering from cancer. They hope to help patients go through the most difficult treatment process with their own personal illness experience and faith journeys.
