The U.S. congress delegation visits Nanjing Amity Printing company on April 1st.Consisting of more than 70 members, the congress learned about the printed editions, language editions of bibles and the countries and regions where Bibles are exported. 

According to the Amity Foundation, Qiu Zhonghui, the company president, also known as Amity General Secretary, introduced the founding purpose, development course and social influence of the Amity Foundation and the printing company to the delegation.

Established in 1988, Amity Printing Company is a joint venture between the Amity Foundation and the United Bible Societies.In 1987, the first bible came off the production line in Nanjing. The sino-foreign joint venture had printed 500,000 bibles until August, 1988. It reached 100 million bibles on November 8, 2012. 

The enterprise has printed 132 million bibles until now. In recent years the bible production of the company converts the situation that Chinese believers buy bibles from foreign countries and exports the domestic printed bibles to  other countries, meeting both the need of domestic and oversea Christians.

Over 26 million bibles are distributed in more than 70 countries and cover more than 90 languages, including over ten ethnic minorities languages and Braille.

It is said that about 55,000 churches in the world use the bibles printed in China who provides the one forth bibles to the world.
