The local bureau of religious affairs in NE China'a Jilin Province  offered a citywide financial training for the religious sites on July 15, according to the report of the Jilin Province Ethnic and Religions. About 330 accountants, cashiers and official leaders attended the event.

The training involved the fields of accounting subjects regarding the setting for religious premises, account management and filling up and reporting of financial statements and the Accounting System for non-government and non-profit organizations.

It aims to enhance the financial management level, as well as the legal and responsibility consciousness of the financial staff due to the uneven management and the fact that the majority of the venues for religious activity are located in the rural areas with the people in charge at older ages. Currently, there are 189 religious premises in the city with 75.1% in fixed places.
