China has an upper-hand when it comes to the newest and most powerful phone of Samsung: Galaxy S8.
HIS research director in China, Kevin Wang said that the latest specs details from Samsung will be available in China. Reports say that Galaxy S8 in China come in with 6GB RAM compared to 4GB for the rest of the world.
Moreover, the Galaxy S8 comes with two different chipsets which are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 chip and Chinese version would have the Samsung's new Exynos 9 chip.
A report also cited that the new phone could be competing the newest release smartphones of iPhones.
"The iPhone has dominated the smartphone market for years, despite stiff competition from Samsung and other Android phones," Gary Beeston, Marketing Director of Insurance2Go said."However, more consumers are making the switch due to better specs, rather than what brand a phone is. Over the past few years, we've noticed a changing ratio of Apple - Android phones being insured, and this research just shows that actually, Apple might need to up its game to keep fans loyal."
Samsung is schedule to launch the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus today, March 29.
