Sister Xiao Cao, also known as Linda Lin, gave her testimony in a musical testimony meeting held by the Xiaocao Hymn in Meinian Church of Shenzhen, Guangdong on April 9, 2017.

She is well-known for the popular Chinese hymn entitled "You Are God Who Heals". Once utterly ignorant of music, she has written over 1000 hymns inspired by the Holy Spirit and also sings her songs. Her songs witness how God guided and comforted her. This former patient suffering from depression and cancer now lives out a splendid life for God.

She shared that she felt desperate, helpless and lonely for her life in the past. Because of God's grace and love, she dedicated herself to living for God, offering herself to be His instrument. The singer has given more than 100 testimonies all over the world since then.

Born in the southern part of China, Linda grew up in Fuzhou, Fujian. Her father died in jail due to persecution when she was two years old. Later, her mother was sent to the countryside for "reform" and later remarried. She stayed in the city and lived under other people's thumb.

However, she was resolved to fight for her future because her grandmother told her, "You can't choose the home where you were born in; but, you can build your future home!"

She did achieve success. She graduated from high school in 1975 and was admitted into a college four years later. In 1985, she began her postgraduate program in Northeast Forestry University, the largest forestry university in China. One year later, she studied in Canada.

The tough woman said that she converted to Christianity in 1987 and she received baptism in 1997 when she became a citizen of the United States. But she didn't start to serve God in the music ministry at first. It was until 2004 that she was touched again by the love of the Lord when she saw the movie "The Passion of the Christ". That same night, she wrote the two songs "Incomparable Love" and "Sacrificed Love", which are the first songs of the Xiaocao Hymn.
