One man recently demonstrated why you should not consider biting your cell phone battery.
An incident took place at a counter in an electronics mall in China. The man was reportedly looking to replace his iPhone battery and tried to test out whether the product was fake or not by biting on it.
A surveillance footage shows how the man puts the battery to his mouth, taking a bite, removing the device from his mouth, just before it exploded into a ball of fire. The sudden explosion frightened him, fellow customers and workers of the mall.
China's Phoenix News reported that no one was hurt by the explosion.
Authorities have advised the public to keep their safety by not doing things unnecessary just like using their own rules in testing out a product's authenticity.
