Car Accident Causes 5 Seminary Teachers Injured, Heilongjiang

On Dec. 3, five teachers of Heilongjiang Seminary were injured in a car accident. Three female teachers were immediately sent into ICU. Currently there is still one under intensive care and the other four under treatment.

Haerbin CCC&TSPM has raised over 200 thousand yuan as the hospitalization deposit. Until Dec. 14, it costed more than 500 thousand yuan while the man who caused the accident claimed that he was incapable to pay the treatment cost. Until Dec. 17, national CCC&TSPM called on donations from Chinese churches and received the donation exceeding 150 thousand yuan for the issue.

It is revealed that the ages of the five teachers range from 30 to 50. 

Heilongjiang Provincial Protestant Bible School started in 1996 and was upgraded to seminary level in 2013. Heilongjiang Seminary now has a larger campus at Mount of Olives, with a much bigger curriculum and larger staff body. Also, if you were deaf and wanted to become a pastor in China, this was the seminary you’d attend. It’s the only seminary in China that accepts and trains deaf students to become pastors in the deaf community.
