Zhoukou CCC&TSPM Starts Technique Training for Christians, Henan

Recently Zhoukou CCC&TSPM invited experts to teach the local Christians the techniques of how to make cured meat and the Chinese sausage to help them enrich through technology, Henan.

Zhoukou CCC&TSPM plans to open practical technique training courses of 60 class hours including 40 hours for agricultural technology, as a response to the religious policy "three functions" and "three services".

According to its official website, Zhoukou CCC&TSPM launches the policy "three functions" and "three services", guiding churches to influence the society besides their own religious function. "Three functions" means making a church into a "chapel" where Christians worship, "lecture room" used to spread the legislations and knowledge and "classrooms" to train members enriched with practical technology.

In addition, Zhoukou CCC&TSPM sets up social care projects, planning to donate 140 goats to poor local families of Hui people, a minority in China. A project has initiated, aiming at helping poor distant villages make a living by engaging in production.
