Laizhou Gospel Church in Shandong Province held a thanksgiving ceremony to mark the dedication of its new church building on November 2.
The event brought together 1,000 attendees, including leaders of Christian organizations and pastoral staff from various districts and cities in Yantai (the prefecture-level city overseeing Laizhou) and local congregants, said the Shandong TSPM.
During the ceremony, Rev. Wu Jianyin, consultant of the Shandong CC&TSPM, urged the attending Christians to uphold biblical teachings and orthodox doctrine, advance the outcomes of theological construction, adhere to the path of Christianity’s sinicization, comply with laws and regulations, resist heresies and cults, and contribute to the healthy continuation of Christianity. Subsequently, Rev. Wu delivered a sermon titled "Ability and Ambition."
The church's construction process and current situation were introduced to the guests and congregation at the event.
The event also included the unveiling ceremony for the Laizhou Municipal TSPM and Laizhou Gospel Church, with the TSPM office located within the church.
