The members from the Korean-based cult group Shincheonji Church of Jesus the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (SCJ) are currently looking for new believers, asking those who are interested to attend their training near Chongyi Church in Hangzhou.

The SCJ originated from South Korea and currently has 100 branches in 75 countries, 50,000 members are in China, said in Wikipedia. The group is said to work with other volunteer groups which are allegedly seen as front organizations and they include the Mannam Volunteer Association (MVA), International Peace Youth Group (IPYG), Heavenly Culture, World Peace, and Restoration of Light (HWPL), International Women's Peace Group (IWPG) and the Mannam International Youth Coalition.

However, the Chongyi Church - the largest megachurch in China - calls for their parishioners and congregation to be vigilant and pray in an announcement in WeChat.

The church claims that the members of the SCJ lingering beside the church often entice the parishioners to listen to their sermons by distributing tracks or teaching the Bible for free. The SCJ also draw in Christians to their so-called training programs through sweet talking, pretending that they true believers of the faith.

The church said, "Actually, they are confusing people with the false arguments presented by the cult."

According to the SCJ, their leader - Manhee Lee - is the Messiah or the spokesperson of the Messiah, denying the universal salvation of Jesus Christ.

The church calls on the congregation to "build a spiritual fence to defend against 'the little fox' which is ruining the Lord's vineyard; also ask God to give us the spirit of discrimination to reject and stay away from the cult."
