Can you imagine how many Bibles would a person need to reach the top of Mt. Everest?
According to the statistics report of the Amity Printing Company released on June 1, over 148 million Bibles have been printed throughout China until April 2016 and this is enough to reach Mt. Everest and do it several times.
In an interview with Rev. Piao from the northeast China branch of the group in May, "The secretary told us, 'The Bibles printed by Amity will reach 150 million within two months. I roughly made a calculation. I found that the height of these 150 million Bibles when piled up will equal to 848 times of Mt. Everest's height if each Bible has a thickness of 5 cm each. To be accurate, the total thickness of the Bibles printed by the Chinese church will represent the height of 848 Mt. Everests!... God is blessing the Chinese church."
His assessment drawn in a lot of grateful comments and responses from the local pastoral staff.
