Recently, the CCC&TSPM and Guizhou CCC&TSPM held a donation ceremony in Longjing Primary School of Qingzhen, Guiyang during the religious charity week of 2016.

This event marks the fourth year in which they have launched the Dew Education Aid Program.

In the ceremony, Shan Weixiang, the deputy chairman of CCC, distributed education grants worth 36000 yuan to 20 students from poverty-stricken families, encouraging them not to feel inferior and downhearted due to their family's disadvantage and to study hard and live happily.

The donation panel has visited some of their homes and talked with their parents. The number of funded students needs to increase after knowing their poverty levels and causes of their plight.

The "religious charity week" can be traced back to 2012 when the National Bureau of Religious Affairs issued a suggestion to encourage and normalize the religious charity activities, putting forward the religious charity week held every September in the religious community.
