Delegation of church of Kuching of Malaysia, 18 people, visit Fu Hua nursing home on Sept 13. Some of them put on the Malaysian indigenous clothing, and worship in Fuhua church with local Christians.
Luo Zucheng, the former chief preacher of Hongkong Basel Mission, aslo the former chairman of the Hongkong Lutheran Theological Seminary, represented the delegation to greet the aged. Meanwhile, he greeted the aged and presented souvenirs to the nursing home on behalf of delegation of church of Kuching.
Fu Hua nursing home is located in the West of Ma Shan Cun, Fuqing City, covering an area of 20 acres, with 5 unit buildings and 160 beds. Launched in 2014, the said nursing home is a non-profit organization, which integrates the rest, cultural entertainment and medical rehabilitation.
It is said that the ancestral homes of this delegation are mostly in Fuzhou, and most of them are ethnic Chinese of the third or fourth generations of Malaysian-Chinese. Surprisingly, many of them could speak Fuzhou dialect. Therefore, they could communicate directly with people in the nursing home.
The behavior of visiting was called as journey for seeking roots. The trip was full of the blessing of God’s grace, aslo wonders everywhere, giving a lot of inspiration to church from place to place.
The delegation paid a visit to two sessions of Christainity of Fujian province, Fjian Theological Seminary and churches in Fujian, Xiamen and somewhere in this trip.
