On September 18, Gansu CCC & TSPM held the "Kongtong, Pingliang Ordination Ceremony" in Pingliang Christian Church, anointing 6 elders and 5 deacons.
According to Pastor Li Jianguo, vice-chairman and director-general of Gansu Christian Council, Pastor Kou Xiaodong, president of Gansu Christian Three Self Committee gave the sermon at the ceremony and Elder Mu Ganglang, chairman of Gansu Christian Council read the ordination approval document. In addition to this, there were other elements like doxology, bible-reading, singing, band performance, giving Christian tapes and presenting flowers.
Four preachers participated in the Ordination Ceremony: Pastor Kou Xiaodong, president of Gansu Christian Three Self Committee; Elder Mu Ganglang, chairman of Gansu Christian Council; Pastor Li Jianguo, vice-chairman and director-general of Gansu Christian Council and Pastor Chen Jinbiao from Pingliang Kongtong Church. Elder Jiang Enzhen gave the salute of acceptance in representation of Pingliang Kongtong Church.
Alongside the newly anointed 6 elders and 5 deacons, there are 2 pastors and 7 elders who serve in Pingliang Kongtong Church (there are only 2 pastors in the entire Pingliang City), and a total of 63 deacons (including retired).
