According to "The notice about 'Helping the Poor' public charity theme day" from Jiangsu province Christian Two Sessions, the Christian Church of Wuxi held the "helping the Poor" public charity theme day on Oct 16 and decided that all contributions would go to charities.
The event was held in Sunday service time, host by Pastor Cao Lingzhen, and Pastor Zhang Peifu shared information on the topic "Go follow the path!" to inspire believers to work hard on their mission of serving society, and to not only commit themselves to church, but also to society.
At the site of the event, the church invited 7 people from extremely poor households to raise funds for their applications, because all of them were critical patients with cancer, or uremia, or kidney failure. Each of them received 3000 Yuan charity donations from the church, 21000 Yuan in total.
The fact worth mentioning is that not all 7 of the recipients are believers in this church, 3 of them are unbelievers with special difficulties chosen by Baisuifang community. So this event received total high opinions and praises from both inside and outside the church. One unbeliever from the community even said:" I really didn't expect such grand love from the church!"
