"Youth for Christ--Here We are!"
A bunch of young brothers and sisters shouted out to make them heard by God through the loud and firm slogan, full of youthful spirit.
This is the 1st Youth for Christ Camp host by Haikou Church, which 130 people from Haikou International Christian Fellowship, Haixiu Church, and Olive Mountain Church signed up for, under the direction and support from Hainan Christian Council. Senior Pastor of Shanghai International Church, Youth Pastor of Beijing International Church, pastors from Hainan Christian Council and others attended this event. They preached 3 sermons for young believers at home and abroad, and in each session, the Chinese choir and English choir took turns to perform.
During outdoor activities, all the young believers were divided into 10 groups. Giant walking, group rope-skipping, sit-ups, ball rolling, tug of war and other programs gave them a more realistic grasp on the importance of teamwork and mutual helping, so everybody could bond with each other in joy, gratefulness, and love.
The one-day-and-a-half camp includes praising, witness, listening to preaching, and games... This is a unique gathering, to help more and more young people understand God and their duties in life. "Let's hope that more and more young people will rise up to become the pillar of the church and the blessing of our time." That is the sincere wish coming from pastors to the young generation.
