Lumaotang Church of Guian New District Huchao County in Guizhou Province was established in 2007. In October this year, with the help from the government and the brother church, the church had some simple renovation which gave the church a new look.
According to church worker Sister Yang, the local government provided 30,000 for maintenance. The church used the money for the simple renovation, but there was no money left to purchase pews. The brother church, Pingba Church donated 33 spare pews and they were enough for Lumaotang Church.
The church is a rural church and for a long while during the renovation, there was no worship in the church. On Oct 17, after the renovation work was completed, services were resumed.
