Xixia Church of Yinchuan, Ningxia will host its Spring Festival service on Jan 28th, 2017, the first day on lunar calendar. The church will also dedicate the beginning of the new year to God.
It's said to be the first Spring Festival service of Xixia Church. According to Pastor Fang, who is in charge of the church, there has been a debate on whether Christians should celebrate Spring Festival. Hosting the Spring Festival service is a decision made when the believers are more and more mature.
Xixia Church is located in Xixia District, Yinchuan City, the capital of Ningxia, and one of the most representative Christian churches in the Yinchuan region. The church was built in 2005, and has more than 400 believers.
