According to the website for the State Administration for Religious Affairs of PRC, the Social Service Capacity Building Training Class, co-hosted by the National CCC&TSPM and the CCC&TSPM of Guizhou, was held in Guiyang from March 1 to 3, 2017.  In total, 50 people attended the training including persons in charge of local churches and related religious organizations in Guizhou.

The class invited social work experts from Hong Kong and Chongqing to teach courses like "Value Concept of Social Service," "Theoretical Models," "Practice and Method," and "Project Operation Management."

The class also integrated the current Strategy for Poverty Alleviation of Guizhou, and invited provincial experts to explain relevant issues for planting gastrodia tubers and Phallus impudicus (stinkhorn fungus).

The CCC&TSPM of Guizhou went to Tiejiang Miao Village in Hezhang County to participate in the launching ceremony of the Spring Strategy for Poverty Alleviation and donated 90,000 RMB to a site for infrastructure in poor villages.

They also went deep into Heshan Village in Tiejiang Miao Township to visit believers, and learned about issues like industrial development, infrastructure construction, children's education, religious training, religious activities, and more.  They reached an agreement on support for technical training in growing gastrodia tubers and more.
