Some lessons in life are best learned when experienced first-hand. But, this is not always the case. There are some people who could help you and guide you in your journey. And as a single Christian, you need to reflect on your single blessedness and remember these things:
The most important person is "you."
Some people may say they knew who they was or they know what they want. Good for them. But, actually during this phase, as a single Christian, you need to get to know better about yourself.
Most of the single persons I knew consumed their time on thinking who they will be when they met the person for them. However, let me say that it is more important to know who you are and what you like before you start knowing another person and liking or loving him or her.
We try so hard to find the person for us that we lost ourselves and get to know ourselves in the process.
You will always end up with the person you truly deserve.
We rely on too much superficial things. We say that we are not pretty or handsome enough, not too rich or kind for someone that we liked. However, let me tell you that no matter how you choose, it will be determined by yourself.
Thankfully, God is always there for us and won't send us anyone who is lesser than what we deserve.
Who you are counts more than who you are with.
The truth is finding a relationship with God is more important than finding the one for you. Your life and yourself is much bigger than just being involved in a relationship. Focus on God and He will reward you.
