A new, large church was dedicated in Shouguang, Shandong, on May 18, 2017.
Since the former church failed to meet the church development requirements, the construction of the Holy Church begun in 2012 after prayers for three years. It received a land of 4.45 acres from the provincial government and the new church was put into use on the 2017 Easter, which fell on April 16.
With a total designed construction area of over 20,000 square meters (or 4.94 acres), the Gothic-style church has a nave, comprehensive building and basement.
