In Wuhan, the capital of central China's Hubei Province, there is a church that has been rebuilt three times. The church is Liufang Gospel Church. It has been rebuilt due to numerous relocations, which have spanned for two generations of pastors.
Teacher Liu Jincai from the church said that it grew from a shabby church of only 40 square meters which was handed back to the church after religious reforms in 1988. It has faithfully proclaimed the Gospel in the heart of Guanggu High Tech Zone for almost 30 years since then.
Each of the relocations of Liufang Gospel Church has been supported by the local government. The church has only recently held an inauguration ceremony for the latest building, and over 1,000 pastors and church workers from across the province attended the event.
