This September, more than ten projects related to the church will be involved in Tencent's "99 Charities Day" campaign, concerning elderly care, assisting the disabled, and church libraries.

The "99 Charities Day" is China's first Internet charity day, initiated by Tencent Holdings together with public welfare organizations, famous businesses, and celebrities on September 7, 2015.

As a strategic partner of Tencent Charity (the company's donation site), the Amity Foundation raises funds to develop philanthropic projects since the first online charity event. It collected a fund of more than 8 million yuan for 75 charity projects on the "99 Charities Day" in 2015. Together with 150 charity organizations, the foundation collected 22.70 million yuan ($ 3.4 million) from about  201,000 netizens last September.

The foundation held a conference on July 21, 2017 sharing the interpretation of the new rule for the 2017 charity day and mobilizing more people's participation. Ninety-eight Chinese partners attended it.
