The Churches Together in Britain and Ireland (CTBI) visited the CCC&TSPM on August 21, 2017, sharing its ministries and exchanging ideas with the Chinese.

Elder Fu Xianwei, chairman of the TSPM, said that the ecumenical organization has been friendly with the Chinese church since its foundation. Rev. Gao Feng, president of the CCC, stated the features of the Protestant church in China's post-denominational period and the challenges the rapidly growing Chinese churches face in theological education and pastoring ministry. The current situation of the ministries promoting the Sinicization of Christianity, the media ministries, and the publication of the Bible were also presented.

Christine Elliott, director of CTBI's World Church Programmes, talked about the organization's mission counseling group, the cooperation projects with other religions and the key media ministries. She also mentioned how CTBI publicized the Chinese church in Europe.

Both sides discussed theological education, social service, and interreligious relations.
