On October 1, 2017, Hangzhou Xiasha Rock Church celebrated its 5th anniversary.
The church held a retreat with the theme "Run to the Utmost" and four sermons were preached. An evening evangelistic meeting was conducted and 71 seekers converted to Christianity.
The church was completed in 2012 and reflects modern elements thanks to the use of aluminum alloy used to shape a rock which decorates the church. Its main hall can hold more than 2,000 people at once and the church has a seven-story comprehensive building for other activities of believers for faith and worship.
