On the afternoon of June 23, Shandong Theological Seminary held a workshop entitled "teaching and evaluation" to promote teaching reform.
According to CCC&TSPM, Pastor Li Cuixiang and Dong Xiaoyue in the Seminary conducted a presentation on teaching based on the courses they taught. Topics included the syllabus, teaching objectives, teaching content, teaching methods, teaching requirements, lesson design, and other aspects. After that, the workshop's lecture itself was shown on a video and all the teachers of the seminary were asked to evaluate the presentation by the two colleagues.
Pastor Gao Ming, chairman of the Shandong Provincial CC&TSPM concluded that teachers should not only have an overall grasp of the courses taught, but also be clear about the teaching goals of each part, especially looking at the content of Christianity in China, and do well in teaching design and interactive design. We should change the traditional system of cramming students with knowledge, learn more advanced ways of developing courses, attract students' interest in learning, and by doing so, get twice the result with half the effort.
At the same time, teachers should also act as spiritual mentors. Their personal behavior will profoundly affect students, so "being a good example" is particularly important.
Finally, those in the teaching and research section filled out an evaluation form to evaluate the lecturer.
