Hebei Church in Dashitou Town, Jilin Province held its annual Thanksgiving celebration on Sunday, November 22.
In the morning, the believers entered the church after observing pandemic protocols, which were directed by one of the teachers, Chai Yanxia.
In the sanctuary, fruit baskets were placed on the stage, symbolizing God's care and blessing during this year. It also was a sign of the believers' gratitude to God. During the praise service, different groups gave performances expressing their gratitude to God. This included a dance by the choir, a dance led by the praise team, a dance by members of the match factory, a dance given by brothers from the congregation, songs by the choir, and a Sanjuban (“three and a half sentences”, a type of Chinese free talk). In front of the stage, they offered sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving, and behind the stage, the “Marthas” of the congregation served the believers in the kitchen.
