The Nanzhan Church in China's northeastern Jilin Province held Christmas celebration services.
Before the celebration conducted on December 24 and 25, officials of the United Front Work Department and the Ethnic & Religious Affairs Bureau of Dongfeng County, Liaoyuan, accompanied by Senior Pastor Liu Xuesong, carried out the inspection and guidance for the activities.
On Christmas Eve, the believers entered the church located in Dongfeng County, following the COVID-19 protocols, and seated themselves at a social distance. They sang the song Live Out Love and prayed.
The pastor gave a sermon on the theme of God loves the world and said that Jesus Christ came to seek the lost sheep and sacrifice himself for them and would be with them forever. Pastor Liu also said that faith was man’s ultimate quest and nothing could replace the relationship with the Lord.
After the service, every participant received a Christmas gift.
